The UYVDC has been home to our daughter for 2 years and we couldn't have found a better place to have her spend most of her days. The staff really cares about the kids, they are always planning different activities and ways to engage them. I would for sure recommend (and have recommended) the daycare to all friends with children.
Sending our little ones to daycare for the first time is never easy but the UYVDC family made the transition really smooth for us. Daniela and her team are caring, responsive, supportive, fun and very committed, always ready to walk an extra mile to support kids and families. With the Covid-19 pandemic, they have worked diligently to follow all protocols and keep kids, families and staff healthy, safe and well informed at all times. Their warmth, energy and dedication are felt from the first interaction and through every message, meeting and phone call. It’s absolutely beautiful to witness my daughter’s growth and development under the care of the UYVDC team!
A BIG THANK YOU to you and all the staff at UYVDC. Our younger child attended the infant and toddler program at UYVDC. From Day 1, we have been blown away by the commitment and dedication of the Director and teachers to the daycare and the warmth and affection for the children - they are nothing short of AMAZING!!!! If you decide to send your child(ren) here they will be in great hands. Even though the daycare is further from the one that we sent our older one to (and where the younger one was also offered a spot), we chose UYVDC for our younger one because the warmth and passion that the Director and staff have for the children was apparent even at the tour and during our drop in visits. During the recent pandemic shutdown, we were kept updated and the children were kept engaged with videos and zoom calls - the Centre made us feel connected as a family and community. All of the staff at the daycare go above and beyond and there is nowhere else that we would rather have our child. The Director's and staffs' passion and love for the children and the centre shines through in every interaction.
UYVDC is a gem. The staff are like family as they truly love the children. Appropriately nicknamed “Baby Village” by my kids, this is a daycare where the happiness, safety and development of the children are held dear, as are the relationships between the staff and parents. The result is a childcare centre with deep roots in the community it serves. You won’t find a more dedicated group of ECEs, many of whom have been at UYVDC long enough to see their infants later return with infants of their own. Also, the staff and families who attend this daycare are diverse and reflect the broader community. That alone makes this place a rarity.
